New Markers and Retired Products!

Been playing with the ShinHan markers that CTMH is carrying beginning August 1st.  There are many techniques and different ways to use them.  Here I used the blending marker and used the inks kind of like paints.  You "color" onto a plastic sheet and then add the ink to the blending marker and color with it.  It allows you to use the same marker to get darks and lights.  It also allows you to mix colors.  It definitely takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it the possibilities are endless and if you used the old CTMH alcohol markers they will be similar.  ShinHan however is a true and tested brand and because there were so many problems with the CTMH markers it was decided to be in the customer's best interest to go with this great ShinHan brand instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.  I LOVE them.  We will carry an assortment of colors that don't necessarily come in our exact colors, but with all the different ways they can be used they are so versatile and as you can see I've used them here with the old Mayberry papers and they coordinate just fine.  It's a change I'm happy to get behind.  Hope you give them a try!  Also, these Mayberry papers can't be purchased any more-don't forget to get the paper packs you love that are in the current book before you can't get them any longer.  Many products will retire July 31st right before the fantastic new Annual Idea Book goes live.
